ILR - Work permit dependent to HSMP

Hi

I came here as a work permit dependent holder on Oct 2005 and got HSMP on my own on Nov 2006 and have to go for entry clearance again. However I still had work permit dependent visa till June 2007 and there was no break because I had 2 visa until June 2007.

Will they consider the period when I'm in UK as a dependent for ILR ?
If yes, could you please let me know when I can apply for ILR under the 4 yrs ?

The latest verdict are only for those who got their HSMP before 3rd April 2006.

Maar,

You may want to clarify this from HO. Sometimes switching from dependent to main/full applicant may mean starting from scratch but this may be waved for you since you have been in the country without breaking in duration.

Although I don't know the reason you decided to change to main applicant because HO does not discriminate as per benefits when it comes to Main and dependent applicant.

My heart tells me you may get it when you apply now having been HSMP since OCT 2005.

Not for the 5 years period for ILR under the HSMP.
