NHS - public fund?

Post by ukdest » Sun Jul 19, 2009 9:30 pm

Since we have "No recourse to public funds" on our visas, does that mean NHS treatment cannot be availed?

There is a good booklet available on the HO website which details what is and is not public funds. I don't have the link to it sorry, but you should be able to search to find it.

Generally, anything funded from national insurance contributions (such as the NHS) is NOT considered to be "recourse to public funds".
