Help: Indian spouse French visa

Post by girishdh » Tue Oct 18, 2005 11:39 pm

Hi

First, I'm happy to found out this group with similar problems of visa. And also interesting to see the suggestions.

I'm Indian woarking in Paris France on CDI. I got engaged with Indian girl this summer in India and will get married in December 05 and I would like to get the dependant visa to my spouse. However, when I enquired at OMI they say it takes around 6 mohths to get the visa to her!!! I'm really astonished and very unhappy with the situation.

Has anyone already done this?

Is there any other way out? say, she joins me with the tourist visa and once she is here, we apply for the dependant visa?

My spouse would also like to work if possible.

Any help will be very appreciated...

thanks a lot, Girish

Sorry to hear about your predicament. This is an UK immigration forum. You may find more responses to your problem on the European Immigration forum. You can also do a search there with old topics, maybe someone had the same problem.

I have now moved this to the Europe Immigration Forum.

Hopefully someone on this Board can help you.
