lost my passport in uk.. please help

I lost my passport with tier 1 stamped on it. Anyone knows the procedure to get a new one and get it stamped with the visa?

I am working in the uk..

What's your nationality?

You need to report to nearest police station and take the police report to your national embassy and they will provide with either temporary passport if you are travelling or new passport.

Later you can get visa stamped on your new passport through HO.

Please help...........

1) Go to the biggest Police Station in your city/town and report loss.
2) Apply to your country's embassy to get a replacement passport. Carry the police report along, and if you have photocopy of your old passport, carry that along with any other ID you have.
3) Send new passport along with police report and HSMP/Tier 1 approval letter to the Home Office requesting for passport to be re-stamped.
