parents as Tier 1 (general) dependants

i am applying for my Tier 1 g in Uk and want to know if i can put my parents as dependants...do they qaualify as Tier 1 dependants...i hv got the maintenace covered..

Tier 1 Dependents - children under 18 years of age, or your husband, wife, civil partner, or unmarried or same-sex partner.
