I came to this informative board to see if somebody has any information, in any regard to my case.
I filed in for my Work Permit Dependent Visa on March 5th 2010 in New Delhi, India through the appointed VFS office.
My wife holds work permit until the year 2012.
Before she returned back to United Kingdom, we submitted following documents through VFS office to the British High Commission: -
1. Our Marriage Certificate.
2. Her savings bank statement for the last six months showing funds equivalent to 13K GBP.
3. Her tenancy document.
4. Her salary slips.
5. Her income tax paper.
6. Copy of her work permit
7. Copy of her passport.
8. My savings account statement for the last six months equivalent to 12k GBP.
9. My audit report and balance sheet.
10. My current account statement for the last six months.
11. My passport in original.
Now apparently it has been one complete month and when I check the status of my application online at the VFS office website, it says- "Visa application is under process with the British High Commission."
Can anybody please share any update, if any, how much time it usually takes these days for the British High Comission to process "Work permit dependent visa these days." ???
