spot exchange rate day

My last day of claim period is 31st of July 2010 and I received the salary for July 2010 on 30th of July 2010, please confirm I should take the spot exchange rate on 30th of July or 31st of July.
On 30th July it is .01374 and on 31st July it is .01376.

The exchange rate on the last day of earnings which is the 31st July.
