Application & Appeal Refused - Sponsor Not Accepted

I have had my application to extend and appeal refused. They said my sponsor (somebody unrelated to me but used a sponsor in previous applications) was not my parent or guardian.

I was £1,100 short (it is myself and my wife) they wanted proof I could pay my college fees, my living and my wife living expenses.

I used a sponsor with a lot of money in the uk. I have just read:

Does this mean they should have accepted my sponsor?

That case is about settlement visas, not the points based system.

What does your refusal actually say?

The refusal states A family friend is not accepted as a sponsor.

Hi ViKG,

Sorry to hear about your visa refusal. I have won my appeal based on the Pankina judgement on the 25 October. What was interesting to hear was the fact that after the judge look through my bundle(that I prepared) he commented that my appeal could have succeed on 'third party sponsorship'' which I have argued but was mostly depending on the Pankina judgement ruling in order to win my appleal.
