Irregular salary certificate

Post by paresh1 » Wed May 10, 2006 2:34 pm

Hi everybody,

I am planning to apply for HSMP. As per my current salary I can get 25 points for my salary. But the problem is, due to the financial crises company has made payments irregularly (minimum period of 1 month, maximum period of 3 months). Thus, though I have all the salary statements, they are dated irregularly. Accordingly, my bank statements also has gaps (but cumulative salary is still in qualifying range). Would this affect my application.

My second query is: my tax statement from comapny (form 16) is for partial period of year. Hence it does not have gross cumulative salary sufficient enough for getting qualification points. But if I add my next financial year's 2 months of salry it comes in qualifying range, what should I do in this case.

Seeking your guidance on these two issues.

Regards.

since you can show your "gross annual salary" it should be fine. lot of consultants/contractors will be in the same boat as you.

tax statement for which country? some countries have different financial years. eg. i came from US where they have Jan to Dec; here in UK they have Apr to Mar. as long as you can show your "income" via salary slips, tax statements, bank statements - all in consistency, you should be fine.

someone else may have more info...
