what's ACCA? seems to be some sort of accounting.javascript:emoticon(':roll:')
Rolling Eyes

"1) do you hold relevant qualification and/or membership to work in your choosen field (in the uk)"

ANS:
eg. If you are IT guy, you need IT certificates;
you need to be qualified and/or be a member of the doctors association in UK. In most cases you will need to show your qualifications for the same field you are applying, because without qualifications your rarely get membership to such associations (eg. a dentist being member of doctors association)

"ARE YOU AWARE OF ANY IMPEDIMENTS TOYOU TAKING WORK IN YOUR CHOSEN FIELD (SUCH AS DEBARMENT FROM REQUIRED ORGANISATION)"

applies to professionals e.g. if a doctor is caught malpractising and has his degree/membership revoked and legally debarred from practising medicine.

Are you claiming education points for ACCA only?

If you do not have any other degree level qualifications such as a bachelors or a masters degree, then you need to wait until you have completed all levels of ACCA before you can claim education points for it as far as I know.

Hi

In that case you can simply answer yes to the fist question which asks whether you hold the relevant qualificationand or membership to work in your choosen field (in the uk).

Unless you stated that you intend to work as a chartered accountant, a Msc in Commerce should be enough proof of qualifications to work within Commerce!

The next question is simply asking if you have been barred from practising in your profession. Assuming you have never been told by any professional body, court etc. that you must not practice a particular profession because of professional misconduct, fraud etc, then you can answer no.

dude, u r getting confused unnecessarily. most ppl applying for hsmp will have qualifications from unis/colleges out of UK.

basically, do you want to work in Commerce (accounts), show your Bachelor' and Master's Certs. the certs ar the evidence of your qualification.
