Statement date question

For proof of maintenance, what exactly does 'date of statement' mean? I applied & paid online from Australia on 21Dec, the statement PERIOD for which I will submit statements (showing date of all transactions and daily closing balance within this period) is from 20Sep - 20 Dec. ie Just like any normal statement we receive in the mail.

There is no date on the statements that show what date it was printed, which is what I understand 'date of statement' to be... is that right?

Is what I'm doing OK?

Date of statement doesn't mean printing date of statement.

It either mean starting date of your maintenance fund or ending date of your maintenance fund, as applicable.
