Self employed but money in personal a/c

Post by misaw1 » Mon Apr 04, 2011 1:14 am

Hi

I am a self employed person working from home but i get all my money of self-employment in my personal a/c but i came to know from H.O website that ur money sould be in business a/c. The exact phrase H.O used is below

If you have worked in a self-employed capacity in your own business or company structure and have chosen to keep your earnings within the business or company, you could send:

business or company accounts that meet statutory requirements and show the net profit made for the earnings period claimed; and
a letter from your accountant confirming the details in those accounts.
If you are not the sole shareholder of the company you should also provide a letter from your accountant confirming your shareholding and the proportion of net profit before tax to which you are entitled for the earnings period claimed.

Plz help me as i m just self employed and not doing any business but jsut giving tuitions from home thats y i didnt open business a/c. Any help really appreciated......:)

Thankx

needy man

Business Bank Account is recommended but not a mandatory requirement,

As long as you can show the earnings in your Bank account (In your Name), it should be fine
If Not We, Then Who?
