BRP enrolment request - Guaranteed Tier 1?

Post by norealidpls » Fri Apr 08, 2011 4:50 pm

Hello,

I have a basic question. Would a BRP request from UKBA means that Tier 1 visa has been processed and 100% probability of getting Tier (General) Visa?

I think the processing starts after the biometric have been collected.

When did you apply? Whats your timeline?

Cheers

No, it just indicates that a valid application has been received.

I had applied by March end but my friend had applied 10-12 days before me and he had got BRP request.

Thanks for the response provided but when we say BRP request indicates receipt of valid application? Does that mean that

1. Points indicated is acceptable
2. Necessary statements/documents are made available.

It is only a matter of validating these documents once the applicant gives the BRP?

Sorry for very basic questions, but would appreciate if someone can let me know at what stage what activities would happen at a high level. I google'd it but never get this sort of information

Application being valid only means that form filled is a correct one and fee has been processed and things like photographs.

Only once bimoetrics has been given, caseworker starts looking into the case. So to your question, if applicant is missing a payslip or havn't supplied documents to support points claimed, it wouldn't invalidate the application. However caseworker will reject the application.
