Maintaining funds in Savings Account-T1 dependent visa

Post by mijothomas » Thu May 05, 2011 11:12 pm

Hi,

I'm planning to apply a T1 dependent visa for my son. At the moment I have 2 types of account with the bank, a current account and a savings account. I have maintained the required funds in my savings account and not in my current account. Both the accounts are solely in my name, however only the current account has an ATM facility. Will it be a problem if I apply for the visa showing maintainance funds in my savings account?

Note: I'll be attaching both the statements along with the visa application.

Thanks,
-Mijo Thomas
