Sponsor's details in VAF1 form??

Hello All,

MY HSMP has been approved..I am now going for EC..
While filling up VAF1 form i came across details abt. Sposnor..

But i don't have any sponsor..i will be paying for me and my wife's travel...

I will be producing a letter from a friend in UK saying that i will be staying with him...

So my Qs is : Do i need to give my friends financial status,bank statement just b'coz i will be staying with him??

I am showing around 10,000 GBP as my savings...


Also will be helpful if i show my Previous Workpermits as i was on WP in past
