Spouse and child visa

Post by abdellah2082 » Tue Jun 14, 2011 1:22 am

Hi All,

I have a quick and straight forward question. I am a UK resident, and my wife is applying for an extension of stay in the UK using the form FLR(M).

Can we include our child (2-month old and born in the UK) as a dependent in this application (FLR-M-)? or do we need to use another form?
We have not decided to naturalize her as a British citizen yet, we want to do this altogether.

I would appreciate a quick answer as we have an appointment on Wednesday.

Many thanks
Abdallah

If a parent has ILR/PR, then baby subsequently born in UK is automatically British.

All British citizens have the right of abode in the United Kingdom. They should not be included in FLR(M) applications.
