Spouse visa.

Post by tunde75 » Fri Apr 29, 2011 6:25 pm

Please I need all the advise from all, I'm british citizen, but I met a lady in
2007, she's from Nigeria. But the problem is that she does not have any paper and I was adviced to take her back to nigeria and marry her. Which I did, but on our way the UK Border Agency issued her IS151A form, which we include in the application for spouse visa at British Embassy in Nigeria since march 18 2011. Though I have a mortgage, 2 job (£40000) a
year and £3000 balance in my account..........

Please can you tell me my chance of getting spouse visa for my wife..... :?

Your advice is really important for my next line of action

Still waiting for responds from members

Paperwork to show she actually lived with you in the property. For example, utility bills with her name on them at that address, medical card...letters etc.etc.
A photo in your house in unlikely to persuade the ECO that she was living there.

she didn't work, because I know her situation before our relationship started. That is why I couldn't put her on any utility bills

If she has no proof in writing (letters etc) addressed to her at your address then you may well have problem proving you were living together as man and wife.

I rememeber that she had a letter from muslim organisation (i.e charity organisation) with our house address and she help them voluntry to teach islamic studies. It also state they can contact if there is any need, like a reference.

Would these help my wife.

I'd say that anything you can lay your hands on that proves your wife was living with would should be submitted.
