confused - dependant or spouse visa ! advise needed

hello

I am a PhD student, finishing in a couple of months. I am currently on a student visa valid till Dec 2012. However, I just got married recently and my husband holds a tier 1 HSMP visa and it appears best that I change to his dependant ASAP to facilitate my future stay with him.

After devouring the home office site for days, I have still been unable to find answers to these questions. Can some one please help or advise me regarding the same?

1. should I apply for dependant visa or spouse visa ?

2. although I should have completed and submitted by work by sep 2011, I will still be a student till I officially receive a degree. In that case, if I chose to change my visa status immediately, then can I complete my degree on a dependant visa?

3. Can I use the FLR(M) form or should I be using the PBS dependant application form?

4. Can I apply from within the UK it self?

you have to apply from outside the UK, and therefore you apply on form VAF10.

I downloaded the VAF10 forms and guidance policy. other than the financial support documents marriage certificate, it doesnt provide anny definative list of documents that I must submit with my application. from reading around, I gather that its safer to submit marriage photographs as well for the proof of marriage. what other documents would I be advised to submit with the application.

Can i please know who can use the PBS dependent and FLRS form?
