Salary clarification (codes of practice)

Post by Baje » Wed Jun 29, 2011 10:41 pm

Can someone please clarify whether your salary needs to have been at/above the rate specified in the codes of practice for the entire duration of your tenure?

When I first got my WP I was below but have been at or above for the last 2 years o so.

Thank you very much

All it should be is atleast last three months pay should make up to the COP threshold with a letter from your employer certifying the salary.

There is no requirement for "at least 3 payslips"! Just one payslip showing payment at/above appropriate rate is more than sufficient, along with a letter from an employer.

In fact, even if there is no payslip to reflect payments at appropriate rate but the applicant provides a letter from an employer that the applicant "is being paid" at the appropriate rate, a caseworker cannot refuse the settlement application for the reason that the applicant has not included any payslips (page 41 in ver7 document).
