1) marriage certificate is enough , but to prove cohabitation relationship emails, chats, phone call statements and might need marriage invitation may also help to support the document ( since its only 3 months you have been alone, extra documents not needed, but for your safer side you can encl. the above documents.sheethal wrote:Hi,
My husband(have student visa till Jan 2012) is in UK and I got married(Registration) to him in May 2011 in India. I am applying for Tier 4 student dependent VISA next week.
1. Is marriage certifcate enough or do I need to show any other documents like photographs or e-mails between me and my husband?
2. Do I need to show any documents which relates to accommodation in UK?
3. Maintenace - I am showing funds which are in a joint account between myself and my father. Do I need any other letter/documents except bank statement?
Kindly advice. Any Suggestions/Guidance is appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

When I checked the supporting documents list, the tenancy agreement requirement is not mentioned anywhere, I guess. May I know which section is asking for this document?

8.1 Is there any other information you wish to give in support of your application?
Please add anything not previously covered which you think may be of relevance to your application.
from which guidance have you taken this informationkprasath wrote:For students and their dependents I guess there is no need to show tenancy agreements, but if someone is saying that they are going to host you when you are in UK, then they will ask all those questions about accommodation. and i guess if someone says that they are hosting you then they may ask for Property Inspection Report, to make sure that the house is not over crowded, But as a student you may not be asked those questions.
I may be totally wrong tho, can anyone please conform,

this is not at all relevent to tier 4 dependent applications.kprasath wrote:I don't exactly remember where I read about accommodation requirement for sponsors, but one such requirement is at
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... schapter8/
in that Annex F - Family members - Maintenance and accommodation, talks about the requirement.
I will see if I can find more links,
Hope this helps

the reason i asked you may be this information is not related.kprasath wrote:Yes Greenie I know that, In my first post I have said that accommodation requirement is necessary for other visas and not for student visas, and as makepop1 have asked where I got that information, I have linked a document which states one such requirement in other kind of visa.
