Hi Chokedup
Mine was signed by the 'General Group Managed Migration Directorate'; it's not signed by an individual. It could be because my application was processed by my solicitor. Did you apply yourself or via a solicitor?

I checked online and the General Group Managed Migration deals with specific groupings, such as unmarried partners, which we are.

I am still waiting my passport, and I really upset, cause I want to travel soon. As I see here, everybody who request their passport from HO earlier everybody got it already with residence card. But I am afraid that it might be not for everybody and I may get a passport but without RC. Am I right?
Can you share when you required the passport which reasons did you tell?
Applied for EEA2 26 July 2011
Coa 2 August 2011
Residence card: still waiting!

I don't understand something about your RC dated 30/09. Do you sent pre-paid envelope with your application ?
Enjoy your RC.

Yes I did sent a pre-paid envelope. They used that envelope. I guess some people are lucky and receive it a few days after it was issued, but most cases are a few weeks later in my case almost 1.5 month later.
vndpag No, I didn't call them, you just have to wait patiently. I know it's hard but you will receive it soon. It's hard reading about people who applied months after you receiving their RC, but I applied one month before you.
Good luck to everyone!

A quick update from an August application.
I did receive my RC on 3rd November, after requesting my EEA husband's passport back it arrived with everything else in a pre-paid special delivery envelope I sent with the application.
2/8/2011 Application received by UKBA
3/8/2011 CoA issued
5/8/2011 CoA delivered
Sep-Oct 2011 Request for husband's EEA passport back for travelling on 4th Nov, for numerous times by email, phone and fax
3/11/2011 RC(issued on 11 Oct) on my passport and everything else returned
If we hadn't requested EEA passport I guess it would have taken longer.
FYI I am a Japanese national and my husband is Swedish(employed).
The application was made after two weeks of our wedding.
Good luck for those still waiting!
