First of all I would like to Thank You all for your help; I just got my Tier-1 Extension approved

This post is for Sole Applicants who are looking for Biometrics done at Post Office..
Post Office Invitation Letter's Barcode gets disabled once you do Biometric PEO booking..
Details:
Just wanted to share with you the difficulties I faced for getting Biometrics done..
I sent my application via courier on 22-Nov-2011 which reached there on 23-Nov-2011 (Fee deducted on 24-Nov-2011)
On 28-Nov-2011 I received an email regarding Biometric Appointment.
Since I was sole applicant and biometric PEO appointments were not available in my region I decided to wait for the letter so that I could get my biometrics done at the post office. However the letter did not reach for till 02-Dec-2012 which made me worried and I called up homeoffice to check whether the letter was dispatched..
I was told by the officer that it comes through second class mail and I could book and appointment via phone and i could carry email printout for the appointment.. Since there were no appointments available (then) at any PEO near my place, officer suggested me to book an appointment at the available PEO which was at Liverpool & I booked appointment for 07-Dec-2011.. She also informed me that the Post Office option might not be available for all the Sole Applicants as they randomly omit few people out for that option.. She assured me that if the letter reaches me in the meantime I could go for Biometrics at Post Office and give them a call before 07-Dec-2012 so that they can cancel the PEO booking..
On 02-Dec-2011 (Saturday) I received Biometric Invitation letter which offered me Post Office option.. I decided to go to Post Office at Oxford. However Post Office could not scan the Barcode ! This could be because I already had a booking at PEO.. But the Post Office guy was not sure why the barcode was not getting scanned also homeoffice Customer Care Center is closed on Saturday.. So for me it was waste of time and money and I had to travel to Liverpool to sort out Biometrics
