*Rare Case* Tier1G is used only 9 months. Can it be renewed?

Post by kpr » Wed Feb 22, 2012 10:25 pm

Dear Experts,

Mine is rare case.

I had got the Tier 1 (General) visa for 3 years. I did not come to the UK during first two years of visa validity. I came to the UK in the third year. i.e., I came to the UK 9 months 15 days before my visa expiry date.

I am employed.
I have the sufficient earnings and I am getting sufficient points in the PBS self assessment from the UKBA website.

My Questions:
As I have used my visa ( lived in the UK) just 9 months and 15 days out 3 years validity,

1) would there be problem for my visa renewal ?

2) will they keep me on hold?

3) will they do more cheques for me?

4) will I get more queries?

5) which is the best option for my case? Premium same day decision application (OR) Postal Application?
I don't mind about the extra visa fee for premium service.
Just, I would like to go for hassle free (without much queries) process.

Could you please help me

Many Thanks

Please refrain from posting multiple topics on the forum around the same issues.

1. No, if you meet the qualifying criteria
2. If you provide the relevant information and the application is straight forward, then No.
3. Not necessarily. They will do the normal checks they do for applicants
4. Can't answer, as I am not a mind reader
5. PEO may be quicker, but once again, it depends on how complex or straight forward your case is, as sometimes PEO cases end up getting treated like postal applications

Please refer to the following links:

They should answer any other queries you may have

Kind Regards
