Third party financial support will not be permitted. There will be 'some' allowance for savings

Anyone who wants to sponsor a dependent relative requiring care to come to the UK will have to show that they can look after their relative without recourse to public funds and it must be care that they cannot get in their own country

People will only be allowed to sponsor close relatives - parents, grandparents, sons, daughters, brothers and sisters - to come to the UK this way. Aunts and uncles will no longer be able to use the family route. And applications will have to be made from abroad, not while relatives are in the UK as a visitor.

For those who will like to apply before the 9th of July, would it imply they have to be in the UK by this date or that their application must be submitted before this date to qualify for treatment under the old rules?

Thanks
