Dear Moderators & All ,
I am new member of this forum. I found this forum is very very useful for immigrants.
My visa status is Tier 1 general and my passport has stamped "no recourse to public funds".
Can I claim statutory paternity pay?
In UKBA website there are 15 headings under public funds.
Does this means that any thing which doesn't fall under these headings are not public funds?
Really appriciate your reply. Thanks in Advance.

Take a look through the following immigration rules on public funds.
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/documents/policyandlaw/modernised/cross-cut/public-funds/funds.pdf?view=Binary
Statutory Materinity pay is not a public fund, & therefore can be claimed. But I'm not aware of the rules around Paternity pay. _________________ Info/Advice I provide is general in nature and shouldn't be used as a substitute for professional advice where necessary.
