thanks for ur post ...can i ask one question.....i m short of 45 days from completeting my 10 years ....which means 45-28= 17 days so in total 17 days short ......do u guys think i should still apply for ilr or extend my leave first.....and what kinda of proof we can provide to show ukba our strong connection with uk....thanks for taking ur time ...any one's suggestion welcome...if any one got any idea about it plzzzzzz have ur say...thanks again

The fee for the service is £6,000, plus the 'premium service' (applying in person) fee for your application type. We will limit the service to a maximum of 4 main applicants and a maximum of 10 people per visit.

So the total cost would be more then £2,000 per person....what you say?

The fee for the premium service is £1239. So it costs £2739 in total. There is however one thing which baffles me in the set(o) form. The guidance says applicants based on long residence to use premium service, can we still choose to tick the premium (PEO) option in the form for the payment? In addition, the Home Office terminated premium service for long residence applicants on the ground that their cases are much more complicated, but now they are providing a super premium service. This seems a bit difficult for me to understand.

Your final decision outcome day will be the total duration for Biomatric 10 year long resident total time line. However, I wish you very good luck and at the same time would you be able to post your present time line please. My time line is applied 06 March, money taken 09 March, Acknowledge letter issue 09 March, Biomatric letter issue around 24 March, letter received on 30 March and done 31 March. After that no update yet. We all will be grateful if you disclose your time line. Thanks

Mate I applied on 29th feb, registered my biometrics on 12th march.they send me again a biometric letter by mistake and again registered my biometrics on 27th march and then finally confirmed with ukba that they had received all the details of my biometrics.
then on 18th june i called them to send my passport back for some id purpose they send me on 09 the july and again send my passport back to them on 10th july 2012.
still the applications are pending. Application is straight forward all they need to have a look.Hope for best

We have received your item and expect to deliver it before the guaranteed time on 13/07/12. If you have purchased Saturday guarantee, your delivery will be guaranteed on Saturday. To check on your item’s progress, please try again later.

GBEMI, Loveislovely, Sam, antonyos, ZGILR, Sunny and others..

I will be eligible to apply for 10 years long residency on 13th of August, i would like to joined with you for super premium service.

However my concern is whether this service is applicable for us (10 years long residency) or not.
From home office website I found,
What types of application can you make?

Premium service and super premium service

This describes the types of application that you can normally submit in person using the 'premium service' at our public enquiry office in Croydon in the UK. It also states the types of applications which cannot be accepted at the public enquiry office.

Applications, which cannot be accepted at the public enquiry office

Our public enquiry offices cannot consider your application if you are:
a person who has been given discretionary leave to remain or humanitarian protection;
a person with a poor immigration history;
applying for permanent residence on the basis of 10 or 14 years' residence;
a business person, innovator, sole representative or investor;
a seaman;
a Gurkha; or
an elderly dependant.

Also, they cannot consider your application if:
your case is complex; or
your case is not covered by the Immigration Rules; or
your sponsor is a staff member of the Home Office or the UK Border Agency. To protect the confidentiality of your sponsor and to prevent any possibility of corrupt behaviour, these applications must be made by post. You must send the application to the address on the application form, with a note stating that the sponsor is a serving member of staff at the Home Office or the UK Border Agency.

Further, they cannot accept applications for travel documents. These applications should be made by post. See Home Office travel documents for details.

My understing is Super premium service just an extention of premium service. I wish I am wrong.

Got confirmation from the homeoffice that super premium service cannot be used to obtain ILR under long residency. See email reply below

it has been pleasure to be with you the waiting team at the end of this 10 years travel journey I have reached my destination now it's time i hop off now

...with my passport and indefinite leave in my pocket with the same time line as Sunny..we were 4 who applied on the 27th Feb here..3 of us got it and reached our destination..waiting to hear about antonys

the wait is over.. 10years long haul journey and never given up on hope and never used a solicitor

Congrats to people who have already got ILR. Can anybody please advise me the date when can we apply this? I understand 28 days before however still little bit confused. I came to the UK on 17th Sep2002 so will complete 10 yrs on 17th Sep 2012 and I guess I should apply for visa 28 days before I complete 10 yrs of residency which is 21st Aug (28days before 17th Sep). My visa was granted on the 9th Sep.

Do you think if I apply my visa 28 days before 9th Sep, application will be declined? Any views.

It is 10 years from the day you first arrived in the country. So you will have to apply 28 days before 17th Sep.
