Just want to clarify who said this "A total of 3344 March Settlement Application are pending to process, I guess UKBA are far behind. It looks like April Applicants may have to wait till Septemebr/Octobe" is it UKBA or our own prediction. If this is true then "GOD HELP US"panda143 wrote:Customer Services

Dear Pankaj Agrawal,
Thank you for your e-mail of 10th July 2012, in which you ask for statistical information on settlement
visas issued between 29th February 2012 and 31st March 2012.
Your request has been handled as a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act
2000.
I am able to inform you that the centre for settlement applications in the UK Border Agency is based in
the North West and therefore the figures released to you have been taken from the team responsible
within this area.
I am able to disclose the following information and for ease of reference I have listed each question
with the answer beneath.
1. How many Set (O) and Set (M) postal applications were received between 29th Feb 2012
& 31st March 2012, and of these how many have been decided?
A total of 5,990 SET (O) and SET (M) applications were received between 29 February and 31
March 2012. Of these 5,990 applications a total of 2,246 have been decided.
(1) All figures quoted are management information which has been subject to internal quality checks.

How does UK Border agency process applications?
I can advise that cases are processed on a strict date of application order unless specific
circumstances prevent this.
A total of 3344 March Settlement Application are pending to process, I guess UKBA are far behind. It looks like April Applicants may have to wait till Septemebr/Octobe

Hey littlebits,littlebits wrote:Hi all
I received my Biometric Residence Permit on Monday after a couple of mis-deliveries by the DX (Secure Mail Services). This torture chamber had me on edge right up until the letter was finally placed in my hand - sitting around waiting for that knock on the door, then calling the delivery company to find out where they were (four times, over three days). My Biometrics card was dated: 25/07/2012 - it looks like it went on a mini cruise before finding me.
The only advice that I can give any new applicants in this merry-go-round is to have faith that your ILR visa will eventually turn up and so try to not worry too much that something has gone wrong - which we all have the tendency to think. Though, of course this has not always the case for some of the people on this forum (eg: UKwannabee) whose PO error (and the UKBAs appalling delay in informing them) was exactly what we all fear (and caused my heart to sink).
It is shame that the UKBA doesn't place a human face to us applicants and understand that all we want is some clarification that our application is being processed and offer some ball park time line so that we wouldn't all have to trawl through the internet in the hope of finding some answers. This forum has been a godsend and I want to thank everyone on it for helping me through this excruciating period esp. GmanILR2012 for maintaining such a great up-to-date timeline, as it was the single most valuable resource that I have found whilst trying to navigate my way through this bureaucratic nightmare.
Best of luck to everyone esp. UKwannabee - I hope that they now expedite your application - fingers crossed.
Hi - my timeline is on the main list but here is the complete version:anushil123 wrote:Could you please post your timeline?? Are you a march applicant?

I'm so glad to read that you received a personal apology - I guess this makes you a little relieved. Like I said, we just want that human face. Good luck!UKwannabee wrote:Congrats, Littlebits! So happy for you!
I received some good news today - I actually received a phone call from a Senior Caseworker @ UKBA (who looks after complaints) apologising for all the inconvenience I've encountered with my application. She said there is no excuse as to why I had to wait 4 months to be told they didn't receive my March biometrics. She understands my frustration but wanted to call me to apologise for the way things have been handled.
She said my application has been put in progress and she hopes I will receive some news by the end of the month. I really appreciated the phone call as the lady seemed quite sincere.
Thank you to everyone for your support - I really appreciate it. I will let you know once I hear from UKBA.
Good luck to all of us waiting!
I think part of the reason is the Olympics, but I really do wish you the best of luck on all this, it is very stressful waiting, especially when you can't call and ask about your status.Apaiva wrote:rekameohs wrote:Hey guys!
