Hi flyingv26,
I was just thinking the same of them. My husband applied about a week before you (May 2 and we are anxiously waiting for response. His is on 10 years all based on student (tier 4) long residence as well, just as yours.
Fingers crossed, we hope to hear something at least in the next two weeks at the latest. _________________ God's divine child |

| Your post regarding sending your application since 2nd May, have you received an invitation for the biometric, or not yet heard about that either? |

Hi
I am assuming that you posted this for my attention in connection to my last post. The date my husband submitted his application was May 28, not sure what happened with the emoticons making its way on to the post.
He has since received a biometric invitation letter and has already enrolled his biometric, only awaiting outcome of his application. _________________ God's divine child |

My husband applied the same day as you. Two other people who applied on the same day has already received their passports back with ILR granted. My husband did his biometric on 1.08.12, so i guess it won't be long now, before we all hear some good news from them. _________________ God's divine child |

We did not request SAR before applying, however to the best of our knowledge there is no gap. All applications were sent before the expiry date of the previous visa. Having said that, there was a situation wherein one application was sent but with a wrong fee, so he was asked to resubmit his application with the correct fee, within a certain period, and he did that within the specified time.
At the moment, I am on tier 4 dependent, however, I have been on it for the last 9 years, so i am hoping to apply directly for ILR on the basis of my husband being settled in the UK after his ILR. We have two children who were born in the UK, so we will be applying for them using Form MN1 and then British passport afterwards.
Anxiously waiting for positive outcome.
PS - he has been on 10 years student visa all throughout. Travelling out of the UK within the 10 year period is less than 20 days _________________ God's divine child |

Hello All,
I have been reading people’s posts during the course of approx. 4 months, this forum has become my constant companion and I feel better knowing that I am not alone. I understand the feeling of waiting for the post each and every day, the sense of disappointment every time, but when I call my family, they keep reminding me that nothing happens before it’s time.
Below is my timeline so far:

Fee taken on 10-May-2012
Bio letter: 04-July-2012
Bio data submitted: 05-May-2012

Congrats, and its so funny how you posted earlier in the day about your worries and concern and by the afternoon the post man delivered your passport.
I am quite hopeful and anticipating that it will arrive by next week, if not then the following week. _________________ God's divine child |
