1) application forms which needs to filled.
2) Is it 600 £ for 3 months in my UK account or 600 £ for 3 months in my wifes account in india ? - bank statement
3) any idea about processing time ?
4) I should have rent agreement in my name ?
5) 445 £ of Visa fees ?
Friends really need your help. _________________ YP |

Hi,
I have one more question about fund maintenance requirement for family member of a Tier 1 migrant. I went through below conditions but I got confused as I got my PSW in march 2014 according to clause 43 its confusing as its been 7 months I got my tier 1 status so should I or my partner will maintain 1800 or 600£ for 90 days ? Please need advice.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
43. If the Tier 1 Migrant is outside the United Kingdom or has been present in the United Kingdom
for less than 12 months, each family member of the Tier 1 Migrant must show that he/she, the Tier
1 Migrant, or (for children) his/her other parent who is also legally present in the United Kingdom
has at least £1800 to support him/her; this is in addition to any funds the Tier 1 Migrant needs to
prove he/she has enough money to support himself/herself
44. If the Tier 1 Migrant has been in the United Kingdom for 12 months or more, each family
member of the Tier 1 Migrant must have £600 to support himself/herself.

To ascertain between the two, ask yourself this - "Have I been in the UK for more than 12 months (in any immigration category and ignoring temporary absences like holidays)"?
And don't make multiple posts! _________________ Life isn't fair, but you can be! |

Hi,
I find my situation closely match to this case. My partner already got Tier 1 PSW work permit.
I am going to apply for dependent (dependent of Tier 1 PSW migrant - partner) visa from India and I have GBP 600 bank balance for 3 months period. But Is it necessary for the main Tier 1 migrant should also show fund maintainenance GBP 900 (600+900) while I make application. Or Only my fund maintenance GBP 600 is enough and not required by my partner (PSW visa holder)?.
Any help would be really helpful. Thanks in advance.
Regards, |

Hi,
I had applied for my wife's visa and we had to show the funds for both of us. I was alrady living in UK for 11 months prior to her application. you can show a combined balance or you can show the entire balance in your account for the 90 day period. |

If not you have to follow as advised in the support document. _________________ YP |

Read the PBS dependant policy guidance. It answers your query clearly. _________________ Life isn't fair, but you can be! |
