Had a successful day at Liverpool PEO.

This forum has been a great help, starting from my initial HSMP application in 2007 to ILR yesterday.
About me>
Initial application: Nov 2007
Extension: Oct 2009
ILR: 29 Oct 2012

I entered the country after 67 days of my initial visa so fall within 3 months entry category.

My case was simple, employed and with same employer for last 12 months.
Docs submitted for ILR:

1. 2 passport size photos
2. Original passport and previous passport
3. Bank statement for 12 months (Oct-2011 to Sep-2012)
4. Salary slips for 12 months (last 3 signed) - (Oct-2011 to Sep-2012)
5. Life in the UK Certificate

AND photocopies. I told the case worker that I have salary summary sheet and list of absences sheet but she said its ok I'll have to go through your bank statement anyway. My appointment was 9:30 but we went in about 8:45 and was out about 10:30.

Few things about Liverpool PEO.
1. No one asked about appointment letter or what time our appointment was.
2. I don't know about other PEOs but I found the environment pretty relaxed and staff listening to applicants.

I'm happy to answer any questions or help.

Thanks

Hi, jd. How many absences did you have? Did the caseworker ask you about them?

What are the actual dates of your Sept. 2012 bank statement and payslip?

97 in total. The caseworker didn't ask any question.

Payslip date is 28th.
I had duplicate bank statements for 12 months.

Congratulations! Your case is pretty much the same as mine and I think I got all the documents I need for my ILR application. Could you look at my post here

@JD You said your case was simple since you were with your current employer for last 12 years, would I need to attach more documents if I have been with my current employer for less than an year?

Thanks!

I would suggest to take employment contracts/letters from both employers with you.

Please which date did you take into consideration in arriving at the date you went for your ILR?

is it 28 days prior to the Visa entry date or 28days prior to when your extension Visa expires because there are a lot of misconception regarding this issue and posts in this forum too.
Thanks

28 days to visa expiry date.

In my case
initial visa grant date: 22/11/2007 (and valid until 22/11/2009)
first entry: 30/01/2008 (around 67 days after visa granted)
extension in oct 2009 until 22/11/2012
ILR applied on 29/10/2012.

Hope the dates will help

Congrats JD..
I am applying next Tuesday for my ILR, my circumstances are very close to yours where I have 72 days gap between my first visa (03 Dec '07) and actual entry day (13 Feb '0Cool. I would appreciate if you can answer me in those questions:
1-Have they asked about cohabitation docs - if you have dependant spouse?
2-Have you submitted documents used to support previous Tier1, i.e. pay slips, bank statement?
3-Have you submitted any docs for section 11L?
4-have you submitted any docs for finance or maintenance? how much? have they asked about it?

Sorry mate for asking much, but you know when it comes to the last few days before the appointments.
Thank you,
Ahmed

My wife didn't qualify for ILR so she submitted a separate application for extension. The caseworker didn't ask for co-hab docs but we submitted original marriage certificate with her application. See my original post.

See my original post for list of docs I submitted.

See my original post.

No. there is no maintenance requirement for ILR under Tier 1 General but for my wife's extension application we were asked to provide evidence that we have maintained £600 for 90 days.
