Hi Guys,
Be aware of scam phone calls to the applicants in the name of UKBA. If you get any phone call in the name of UKBA, don't get tensed and tell everything they ask. They may try to grab sensitive personal information or financial information like card numbers or something.
As far as I know UKBA contacts the applicants in written (post or email) if they need any further information to process the applications.

So, be aware of scams in the name of UKBA.

Guys,

I had a phone call from scam people today also asking me to pay £626 for CISA no. They want me to transfer the money to India via Western Union.

I complained to police about that, but police told me to complain via
http://www.actionfraud.police.uk/

No one can able to stop this fraud ppl I think. I will try my best to stop this ppl.

please be aware of this phone no 020 7097 8829

hope UKBA do something about this.

Hello All
I got a call today from private number and person calling me said his name is Wilson Jones and he is calling from UKBA, he said as my CISA is not updated since i arrived in UK, it can lead to a fine of £2000 and he said he can sort it out for me with the help of solicitors and will work in association with British high commission, India. I asked person that I cant pay right now as i donot have anything in written and also I am outside my house and donot have any money with me, he then said how far I am from my house and I said about 30mins way, he said do not disconnect my call and go home and get cards to pay and if i disconnect his call I will be in trouble and he will notify it to UKBA and send recordings to deportation centre..... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
M sure it was a scam and I also had a chat on Homeoffice helpline http://www.homeoffice.gov.uk/contact-us/contact-the-home-office/ and the person told me surely it was scam and I can report it to police and also on there website.
just sharing as one of you can also receive this kind of call in future,,,,,Be aware.....

After giving biometrics at post office branch on 30-oct, today on 4-Nov, my case mate received a letter to re-capture biometrics because previous ones are not up to the standard. He received the letter with same ORDERS of 19.20 £ fee.

Hi All,
I applied on 18th June PSW route funds in UK. Gave bios on 14th July. They sent letter on 18th Oct asking for maintenance statement which was sent on 24th. They received it on 25th.

Visa was granted on 1st Nov and today I received my BPR. It was really hard time but finally it is over now.

I wish you all very best of luck and hope you all get your visas soon.

Hi La,
They asked for 90 days maintenance statement. The statement I originally provided was till 16th May and I applied on 18th June. Their rule is that the statement should not be older than 28 days and mine was older than 28 days. That is why they asked for an up-to-date statement.

I hope that I have explained it in an understandable way. Please feel free to post your questions if anyone need any help.
Thanks

Hi ignite,

Thanks for detail info.

Could you please clarify below queries.

1) Can you please confirm which of following type of bank statements you kept for 90 days maintenance funds and 50k investment funds

a) Did you keep electronic bank statement having UK bank stamp on it or b) Did you keep original bank statements or
c) Did you keep bank statement with bank letter head or
d) Bank balance letter with letter head and manager sign for investment funds.

2) Did you maintain 50k Investment funds till your Visa is approved.

3) I have kept LLoyds UK bank balance letter for investment funds. Is that OK for UK BA to approve Visa ?

4) I have withdrawn my 200k funds from India and UK banks after applying Visa. Does this give them chance of refusing my entrepreneur Visa.

5) In your previous post, you said that you have again submitted up to date bank statement to UK BA for your maintenance funds - till what date you have submitted bank statement for your maintenance funds. Could you please give me your 90 days duration you claimed for your second time submission. I hope if you can submit the statement with date near to date of visa application date which should satisfy 28 days rule, that should be sufficient . Could you please confirm.

Could you please give more information on all above queries.

Hi Ignite

Congrats on your application.

Did you supply evidence of trading contracts and did UKBA verify the contracts?

Thanks
