Reference number for second application

I applied for the second time because first time failed.

The payment was cleared but I didn't receive any confirmation or reference number. Is it the case that the previous reference number will still be used for the second application?

did you fill up the acknowledgement page in page 2 of the application form? if yes, try to wait a little bit as it may had travelling awhile!...

if not, try calling them up.

even i have applied for the second time
i received reference number next day after payment was deducted

reference number is same but will have /02 at the end
mine is 203***/02

call up HO and find out...

I have applied for the second time. I got the same Reference number as the initial application
