1. If my 5 years WP was granted on 9 April 2008 and valid till 8 April 2013, premium service booked for 12 March, is it fine or one day too early?
2. My salary only satisfied SOC code requirements in the last three months with a pay rise of 5k, would that be acceptable? My previous salary was considerably lower than the SOC code requirements but higher than what was stated on my WP approval letter with an average pay rise of around 3k per year, would it be a problem if I am asked to provide P60 for 5 years?
3. from SET (O) form:
“Document(s) confirming that you have spent a continuous period of 5 years in the UK as a work permit holder throughout that period”
Is it a separate letter from the employer stating the starting date of my employment or just need to mention it in the letter confirming salary, or 5 years P60 would automatically prove this?
The issue is I actually started working for the employer 4 months earlier before the visa issued(I was in holidays as a student but new term started before the visa was issued), could not really say it was on part time basis as the salary was the same if looking at the payslips?
What should be the starting date of employment to be mentioned on the letter? It would take time for the passport to arrive(applied by post), but if the date was several days after the issue of visa, it would be less than 5 complete years by the time I apply for ILR.
5.Planning to get 2 letters from the employer:
1) letter confirming SOC code, job title, salary and continuing employment
2) letter confirming paid annual leave
Is it enough?
6. Worst case senario (touch wood this won't happen), if ILR rejected, I will need another 3 months visa to qualify for 10 years ILR, what are the options available? I was on student visa before switching to WP ( finished my master degree), can I apply for another student visa?
Many thanks for your time and kind help
