Applicant Income

to apply as spouse of a settled person the income from Dividend comes under Category C: Non-employment income according to Section FM .But i am confused about Director pay which he takes monthly from his own company.Will it fall under same category C or Category A????

secondly i read through guideline and it says"Where the applicant‟s partner (and/or the applicant if they are in the UK with permission to work) " does it mean that we can take into account the income from Sponsor and from applicant both to qualify £18,600 requirement???? or instead of sponsor the only applicant income can use to fulfill requirement if it is more than £18,600 per year.???
