Its like Dr.s appoinment now. they deduct the fee and we all are happy thinking, wow, thats done!! and then nothing.... God am desperately waiting for this. it s my sis wedding on 10th of feb..

could you please share the number that you call, and the options please. I tried umpteen times and no one is picking up

I called the call center number 0870 606 7766 and gave them the reference number on the acknowledgement.

Which number are you trying?

Its the same... option 2 & then 2 again... they answer the phone within 6minutes...

nope, couldnt get through. I was trying for four days now, at different times as someone said, i tried exactly at 9am too. What time did you call? I dint get anything in todays post either, so NO hope for me!! Gosh!! :'(

I spoke to them at around 3... I got through so easily.... I had to call 3 times to get into a que but when i got in the que i had my call answered in less than 6 minute

no point even writing details anymore. The email means nothing,there is no phone option,and no queue system.The 6 month timeline went 2 months ago. Email responses are generic and do not match the questions. All you can do is wait

Agree with you. As I have reported earlier I applied on 01 Feb 2013 - more than a year ago. I have sent a new e-mail a few days ago and received the same generic response on Friday. My wife (naturalised British citizen) will send a letter to local MP tomorrow, as advised by many at this forum (many thanks for this advice). I will keep you updated.
