Hi all, this may be a stupid question but per the guidance for ILR (below), should not apply more than 28 days before qualification period ends. For me, this period would end on 20 Apr 2014 and I just took PEO appointment for 24 Mar 2014. If I do one date minus other in excel it gives me 27 so hopefully it will be fine but just wanted to know from guys who have gone through it before that hopefully there isn't some weird rule involving business days / weekends etc involved with this? Thank you !

Please do not apply more than 28 days before
completing the qualifying period. If you apply earlier
than that, your application may be refused. If
that happens, we will not refund the fee and you
will have to pay again when reapplying.

I am in similar situation..........my first entry clearance if from 16apr2009 but I entered first uk on 12jul2009 within 90days ............and my current leave expires 18jun2014 cos they took 3 months in tier1(g)extension giving me approx. 2 months extra, but I think I am eligible for ilr 18mar2014 counting from entry clearance stamp 16apr2009 as I entered uk within 90days ....so I can apply after 18march before the fee hike in april 2014 and don't have do wait for 28days before my current leave expires......can u pls confirm?

Yes, from 28 days before 16-April-2014. Subject to meeting the other requirements including KoLL.

thnks a lot for the prompt reply.....sorry I am posting on the wrong thread

.....in set(0)form in section 11 which one applies to tier1(g) since starting I have been on tier1(g)only.i cant see any 11(b),(c),(d)...or any other apply for tier1(g)

1) 11l says "Tier 1 (General) migrant If you are applying for indefinite leave to remain on completing 5 years’ continuous
stay in the UK made up of leave as a Tier 1 (General) migrant and leave as a highly skilled migrant, work permit
holder, innovator, self-employed lawyer or writer, composer or artist, in addition to the relevant documents in
11A, you must provide the following documents" .....I understand its for ppl who got combination of tier1 and any other category....but I have been only on tier1(g) since starting....so cant see any 11(b),(c),(d)...or any other apply for tier1(g)........................pls correct me if I am wrong?

Hi amber,

tier1(g), I am claiming the earnings from march 2013 to feb 14 so attaching the payslips and bank statements to show salary, one of the bank statement of june 13 was missing so I got a printout of the bank statement on the letter head of the bank stamped by the bank on 15aug.........is it fine or has to be the latest stamp within 1 months before application.

just recently somebody commented on one of the post that it is advisable to carry the naric comparability certificate for the English language requirement.........me and my wife both have degrees that coming up in the points based calculator and awarding the 10points for the English.......so both of us are planning do just apply with the print out of the calculator with the original degree and transcript .........can u pls confirm bcos we don't want to spend another 100quid but don't want disappointment in the ilr appointment .............pls can u confirm.........
