Hi Mrs PMrs.P wrote:Hi guys, I called HO, the advisor said that they have sent a letter to my solicitors dated 30th July, its been 7 days, I called the solicitors they said they will get back to me, I am panicking now, they normally send you a letter to request more information or something or refusal, what do you think. Thanks for any input.

Did you write a covering letter with your ILR (LR) application ?
If so, could you please share the same.
Thanks,

I would complete my 10 years in UK on 7th September 2014.
When would it be best to submit/post my application considering I can apply 28 days before 10 years of my completion ?
Thanks

You are open to apply after the 14th of August 2014. So you can apply any time after that.
Not many days to go so brace up, get ready, do your home work, making sure get the latest version of SET(LR) and latest photos, attaching all your previous passports, and BRP card, life in UK result, and English language certificate or if you have degree from UK university than even better.
My prayers and best wishes with you.
Kind regards

Hi poe2014,poe2014 wrote:Hi members,
I just got ILR few days ago, and I am preparing FLR (M) visa for my wife. My wife got her dependent visa after 07/2012. I understand we will have to meet the financial requirements.
However, we have a bit complex situation here. Can anyone advise please?
My wife has been working for more than 6 months and her annual salary is slightly below £18,600. I have been a full time PhD student for the past 4 years. I did some part-time for the university in the past few months. I want to know if my part time income is counted as ‘salaried income’? Can we combine these two incomes when applying for FLR(M)?
As we plan to move in September to another city for my new job. My wife will resign her job and move with me. Her current employer might not issue the letter to HO, say she is still employed by them.
In this case, can we wait till I start my new job and apply for her visa using my new contract? I understand if so, my employment will be less than 6 months, and we will still need to provide HO with the past 6 months’ income.
Do we have to change her dependent visa to FLR(M) within 28 days?
I read the guide. It only says must change before going abroad and need to change before the expiry date on the current visa.
Thanks in advance for your help. (Btw, should we create a separate discussion on this topic?)

Is marriage certificate a must for FLR M?
I would say that it is very important to have the marriage certificate, as being a married couple your whole case is based on it. But on the actual FLR(M) form it is a bit ambiguous if you check on page 60
12B Spouses and civil partners
So I would suggest that if it's there than it's better to attach that, but if not there than ..... Make your mind looking at the above mentioned. May be other seniors members will give us their valuable feedback on this issue.
Kind regards
