At last I have received my British Citizenship Approval letter after 8 months and 5 days. Applied on 30th of March 2015 using NCS service. on 29th of September Home Office notified me by a letter that they need 3 more months to consider my application and will be decided by 29th of December 2015. But fortunately received it today, 5th of December 2015 Saturday though the letter was dated 29th November.

my timeline is as follow
No of applicants: 1 Adult
Eligibility Criteria : 10 yrs + 1 yr ILR
Language criteria : UK Hons & Master's Degree
Method of application: By NCS (Islington)
Date of application: 30/03/2015
Payment method: Debit Card
Date of receipt by UKBA: 31/03/2015
Date of debit or clearance of fees: 16/04/2015
Date of acknowledgment: Received 17/04/2015 e-mail
Date approval received: 05/12/2015
Date of ceremony: Will Call on Monday 07/12/2015

Anyone still waiting ? Applied 31 March 2015 got outstanding issue letter after 6 months and was given new deadline to decide by 30/12/2015 but no news yet really worried.

Outstanding policy letter received in September, but there was no deadline by when they will process the application; received another email in December that application will take another 3/6 months...

Hi i applied on 26th march 2015 for naturalisation.. In the last 10 months i didn't get any reply from them...I called them so many times but every time they say your application is under process...and now i have received a letter from home office after 10 months for an interview....anyone experienced such interview ??? please help...
