Hiya,

Yeah I received my passport and supporting documents yesterday. The problem with my application initially was that I had used the pre 6 April form. They then wanted additional supporting documents, but didn't contact me until after 8 weeks.

The day they received the additional documentation though they made a positive decision. It took them an additional 5 days to ship my paperwork.

Wish I had some good advise for you guys. Good luck!

FLR(M) application sent to HO: 14/04/15
Application received and signed for: 15/04/15
Application acknowledgement letter: 25/04/15
Biometric letter received, along with request for additional payment: 28/04/15
Biometrics enrolled at PO: 30/04/15
Letter requesting additional information (and indicating decision would take more than 8 weeks): 08/06/15
FLR(M) visa granted: 12/06/15
Passport and documents received: 17/06/15
Biometric card received: Waiting (Letter informed us it should arrive within 10 days)

Hi

are you a director of a limited company receiving salary and dividends or are you registered as self employed. You can't use just your personal bank statement to satisfy finically requirement. You have to sent your last year returns, business bank statements, personal bank statements for full year and some more documents. It's a long list of documents. Here is the link

https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... rement.pdf

Try to read this full if not then from page 59 where they have explained which documents are required for finically requirement.

I hope this will help and good luck.

Thanks
Ali

I want to apply FLR [M] application for my dependents. My previous legal status was Tier1 Entrepreneur. I started business by opening up a company and register myself as Self employed. I was drawing income from Business Account to Personal Account every month. Last year i paid personal tax and corporation tax for whole respective year.

Q1 . Can I show my last 12 monthly personal bank statements [ from 1st of June 2014 to 30th of May 2015] as a proof of drawing from business account to meet the required limit for FLR[M]?.

Q2 . In the month of May 2015, I got job . Can I add one month employment income with personal drawing from business account?.

I would be thankful for members to guide me in this regard.

For the FLR(M) are we pretty much just submitting all the same information all over again?

I came over from the USA on the Fiancee and we married this past Saturday, June 20! Woo! This will be my first go at the FLR(M). We still have all of the documents sent for the original Fiancee visa, and have just gotten our updated bank statements, employment letter, etc. Is this stuff expected? Is it pretty much just take all the old stuff and do it all over again just update it?

We are wondering if we need new letters of intent, correspondence from before I came here, letter from his dad because we live with the family, etc. I expected to need to send all these things again, just wanted to run it by some people who have been / are going through this.

Also, 74 page application?! The last one I did was like 10 pages.

Hi

Please I need some urgent assistance I've applied for my wife flr m and today I've received a letter from HO asking to send bank statements to show that I'm receiving salary and dividends as claimed from my documents.

Now the problem is I was not transferring the exact amount as I have shown on my payslip. I was a taking random payments from my business account to my personal. I have send 12 payslips of £600 each and one dividend voucher for £14000. I was taking random payments.

I have asked my accountant before submitting and he said it will be accepted as total figure teles. I want to find out whether ho will accept this or not. Also my payslips says that I have taken cash salary.

Please I will appreciate your quick response.

Thanks

Hello to all

I received my wife FLR(M) on august 2013 for two years which is expired in august 2015. On her letter clearly mention that she can apply SET M after two years, even senior member Mr vinny and other advice me to apply SET(M). Even i consulted some solicitor they all suggest me to apply SET M. Now problem is my wife out of country to India for 15 months for genuine reason that she was pregnant and we blessed with a baby girl born in India, I got all hospital paper work. She is back in January 2015.

She is living with me more than five years on hsmp flr m dependant visa. So my question after 15 months gap is she can apply SET(M) or not is bcoz some solicitor saying u can apply 50% chance to get visa and 50% not.

Please advice guys, it a huge amount 1900 pounds.

Tnx

First question to ask yourself is - Do you have a choice not to send these now ? Answer is "No"

If the total telly's and you as a director confirms this in writing, i think it should be accepted.. Just explain whatever you have said above in a cover letter..

Another thing that you could do, is to submit your personal tax return for 14/15 straight away, once submitted then call HMRC and ask them to send you SA302 form (This could be used as a confirmation of your income in the last financial year as it has just been passed) But be aware that HMRC might take 2-3 weeks before they send you any such document.....

The last thing you could also do is to get a letter from your accountant, confirming about your Director loan situation (if you have withdrawn less (Salary & Dividends), then your director loan would be in Credit" and could be added to your situation...

I am not an expert in immigraiton matters and above is just my personal opinion... see what expert members have to say

I am applying for my wife' and Children's variation of leave from T2 Dependent to FLRM now (As i have got ILR under 10 Yr Rules), my query is my wife has to pass A1 test for english language requirement, what happens with my kid who is less then 2 Years Old ??

The guidance (As usual) are very unhelpful and only exempts people over 65 with some other exemptions, but it nowhere says anything about a toddler .... Not sure, explaing this in a covering letter would suffice ???

Has anyone come through similar situation ?

Hi All,

I have been reading this forum since I started my application and I feel it is only right to contribute.

FLR(M) application sent to HO: 06/06/15 (special delivery)
Application received and signed for: 08/06/15
Application acknowledgement letter and Biometric letter: 13/06/15
Biometrics enrolled at PO: 13/06/15
Letter requesting additional information: 27/06/15 (dated:23/06/15)
Additional document sent: 27/06/15
FLR(M) visa granted: 02/07/15
Passport and documents received: 02/07/15
Biometric card received: 02/07/15

I paid by postal order and I wonder if that was the reason I got my biometric letter so quickly. But in any case, reading this forum brought me some comfort while I waited anxiously! thank you all!
I organised my documents in a big folder. The three main sections of my documents were 1) proof of my relationship with my partner, 2) proof that I met the English language requirement and 3) having adequate funds in accordance with immigration rules.
As was mentioned earlier, once I sent the additional document they wanted, the approval came in just 4 days after receipt of my letter. This was my 2nd FLR(M) application (extension).

Hi

I wonder if anyone can help me please.

I have completed an FLR(M) from for my Ukrainian wife and sent this to the Home Office. She is on the 5 year route and has completed the first 2.5 years. I think we would be one of the first couples on this route. I have included on this form her son who came into the UK with her at the same time. He was 16 when he came and is now 19.

Our application has been rejected. It states:

"You must make the application or claim using the current version of the correct specified form, as your dependent is now over 18, he will have to apply in his own rights."

On the from itself and the guidance given it states:

"Dependent children aged 18 or over may not be included unless they were initially granted leave in the category at a time when they were under 18"

My interpretation of this is that I've used the correct from. Seva was under 18 at the time he came to the UK and was granted leave in this category.

Has the Home Office made a mistake?

If not what form should I fill in for him?

Thanks in anticipation.

FLR (M) Query: Can Someone help please ??

Section 7B - Maintenance
You only need to complete this section if:
(i) You qualify for an exemption from meeting the income threshold element of the financial requirement.
(ii) You were granted leave to enter or remain as a partner under Chapter 8 of the Immigration Rules following an application submitted before 9 July 2012.
You must provide evidence that your partner is able to adequately maintain you and any dependants in the United Kingdom without recourse to public funds.
All applicants must provide specified evidence set out in Appendix FM-SE of the Immigration Rules unless they have had leave under Part 8 of the Immigration Rules before 9 July 2012 (excluding those applicants whose last leave was as the partner of a Relevant PBS migrant). For further details see FLR(M) guidance note.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My Wife received approval as a Tier 2 General Dependent on 2nd July 2012, She travelled to UK on 29 July 2012. I am not sure if we have or do not have to fill in Section 7B ? - as she was a points based system visa dependent.. Any help would be really appreciated.

Hi

A quick question might be not relevant but thought ask it anyway....My wife wants to travel Pakistan with my son and she will be staying atleast 4 months... She is currently on Paternity leave(working) and her current visa status is FLR(M) and my son(month old) who is British national.
My question is if she intend to stay more then three months, does her or my son NHS support will continue on there return or there will any other formality needed so they can back on nHS register? Please be advise we paid for my wife NHS when we switch the category to FLR(M). and is there anything else which can effect if they stay outside UK more then three months?

Thanks for your help

Hi pondjumper!

Sorry to bother you a month after your visa was approved (congratulations btw!). I just wanted to ask you about your timeline. It says that you found out your visa was granted on the 12th of June. I just was wondering how you found out? Did they email/call/send a letter? I haven't found many instances where they were actually informed a decision had been made most say that they suddenly received the BRP/Passport/Documents.

Thank you! Hope you are doing well! :D
