Finally the wait is over. Just to let you all know I've spoken to HO on 21/02/2014 and was told a letter was sent out on 20/02/2014.
I've received the letter of approval and citizenship ceremony invite today (22/02/2014).
Looks like they are catching up with the back log.

Called HO on 08706067766 before receiving the letter. I found the staff is quite helpful and they will tell you if you application is in process or has been completed, and roughly when you should get the letter. As myself, if you are paranoid on your application, then maybe calling them is a good option.

I did used option 3 once but got the standard response.
Option 2 is a longer wait on the phone, but I think they provide a more accurate updates.
