My current Tier 1 expires in Apr 2014
I become eligible for ILR in Sep 2014
so I will have to renew for these 4-5 months gap

My wife's pregnant with our 2nd child, expected to deliver in Feb 2013.

Does the new baby gets exactly the same visa as us, if yes what is the fees please?
OR I have to show minimum balance and follow the full dependent process please?

I found out that:
If your child (319F-319J) is not travelling, then you do not need to make an immigration application for leave to remain for her/him and You may wait and include her/him in your extension or settlement applications; or immediately after a parent is granted settlement, their child is entitled to register for British citizenship (Section 1(3)), irrespective of child's immigration status.

If the above is correct - assuming I do not need to leave the county until my ILR, I do not need to include the new born in my upcomimg extention and I can include him/her with the ILR application straight away?

Or even wait more and get my ILR and then get him/her to register for British citizenship (Section 1(3))?

Please adise.

Thanks & Regards

Thanks tier1Reading
I live in Reading as well btw ... anyway

Is there difference between Settlement & ILR please?

I mean I plan to travel outside the country so I will get my new born a Leave to Remain - What abouts the date though ... will they match my leave to remain dates or he will get 2 yrs leave from the date of grant?

I assume his leave will match mine, so that is Apr 2014.
In Sep 2014 when I go for ILR (I need not include the UK born, right?) & after I get ILR - what about then - I can let the UK born be without ILR until I get Citizenship i.e. Settlement? OR soon after I get ILR I get him to register with the ILR?

My question really is that the registration is after ILR or after I get Citizenship?

If after citizenship, then how much time one has to wait between ILR & Citizenship? And what is the cost of this Registration please?

Both are same.

Match your leave to remain dates

Soon after your ILR.

If after citizenship, then how much time one has to wait between ILR & Citizenship?
After 1 year of holding ILR you, your spouse and your first child(not born in UK?) can apply for Citizenship

And what is the cost of this Registration please?

Thanks again

... Last 2 questions please

So I do not have to wait for a British Passport for the UK born to register to it, just ILR is fine.

And What is the benefit in doing so... is it cheaper to register the UK born for ILR after my ILR, or ...?

Sorry to keep bother u ...

After 1 year of holding ILR you, your spouse and your first child(not born in UK?) can apply for Citizenship
--- When will my UK born apply for citizenship then please? OR he will be a citizen as soon as I get ILR?

Also, I am sure I am confused and looking at the wrong place, but the pdf says
Registration is £631
and 'plus £276 for each additional child'

So its cheaper to include the an additional child as per this ... correct me please.

Thanks & Regards
