On deputation in UK :: Past Earnings in India

Post by miki » Sat Dec 02, 2006 12:25 pm

In UK, I am on deputation from India(From June 206). Getting salary in India with some allowance here. (Nothing is mentioned about allowance in salary slips)

Can I show my earnings based in India only for these last 7 months(After coming to UK).

There is one point in hsmp guidance, Page 25 (Point 40), which is bit confusing.

Is India will be country BAND for earning for these last 7 months / UK ???

Planning to apply for HSMP in Jan.
Please help.

Hi Paramjit,

On what basis, r u saying this ??

As during HSMP approval, don't require to show anything about UK residence / working.

If your Indian company give you allownace (no NI/Tax deduction), you can't show this as your earning. You must then show only Indian salary as earning.

Hi RG1,

Thanks. Yes, NO NI/Income Tax in my case in UK.

So in this case, for my earnings in India, BAND will be related to India only i.e. D. Right ?
