Financial matters

Post by secretary » Fri Dec 29, 2006 5:52 pm

I am a sponsor and I had a question regarding bank statements.
I am happy to include my bank statements but was wondering whether they have to be the full statements or whether it is possible just to send in the summary pages which list
previous balance
withdrawn
paid in
some of my purchases are quite personal and I do not really want anyone to see this and am not sure if it is really relavant. Surely it is enough to show how much is going in and out of my account and how much is available at the end of each month.

If I do not submit all the statements - does anyone have any experience of whether this will do my case any harm?

Hello,

A sponsor is generally expected to submit at least 3 months recent bank statements with dull details of his expenditures. That will priove that the sponsor genuinly has funds/gets funds as well as to see his outgoing payments in order to establish if his funds are sufficient for a beneficiary.

If the alleged sponsor does not provide proof of the above the applicant's applicatuion is likely to be REFUSED.
