you are entitled to complain and you can also refer to your local MP to follow your case too.
Please donot send PM. Write in open forum to facilitate others too.

well here is my advice:

write to solvit at your spouses? country.
write to your MP
write to rob.whiteman@homeoffice.gov.uk - address to Rob Whiteman and Sarah Rapson

also CC: the email to

UKBACustomerComplaints@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk; EREC@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk; liverpooleuro.passportreturns@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk;

you can find your husbands solvit email address here:
http://ec.europa.eu/solvit/
(or direct emails in english: http://ec.europa.eu/solvit/site/centres ... /index.htm )

I found this in https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/ ... 3/Response 24432.pdf.html

The interesting part is, Is it possible to continue working when your COA has expired and still not received RC?
Also this quote What can they do if their employers ask for proof of eligibility to work in the UK once
the va
lidity of the certificate of application has passed?
If an applicant

s COA has expired, it still rema
ins valid until they receive our
decision.
E
mployers should always check with
contact the European Enquiry Contact Centre on 0845
010 5200
to confirm the
right to work, so the applicant should not be disadvantaged by a COA
that is over 6 months old. The only exception to this in the EAA Zambrano cases were we
automatically renew the COA if the 6
-
months has expired
.
If an applicant has not received a reside
nce card within 26 weeks of their application, they
should either contact the European Enquiry Contact Centre on 0845 010 5200 or write,
quoting their reference number,
to UK Border Agency.
European Applications EEA2,
PO Box 306,
Dept. 110,
Liverpool.

Hi,

I have got a similar situation.

Sent application on September 22 and still waiting for RC.

As far as I know you are entitled to work until u receive an answer.

Hope it will come soon.

Good Luck!

Yes you can work even beyond the 6 months processing time and if the employer has any concern then they can directly confirm the rights of work from UKBA employer line.
