Filling online application form

Hello,
Has anyone filled the application form online? What are the advantages to filling by pen? Is it possible to correct anything once you have finished filling (as one needs to print and sign)

What type of application? In many locations it is not possible to submit a paper application as on-line submissions are mandatory. So, if you are referring to a visa rather leave to remain, your question may be irrelevant.

Hello,
I am applying for ILR under workpermit (set(o)) and going to croydon in few days time. Hope this helps. I was wondering whether it's better to fill the form online or just do regular hand fill
