Bank Statement doesn't show company name fully! Pls advise!

Hello everyone! It can be long, but please help me.

I have already submitted my HSMP application yesterday, and then I found this fantastic forum. How helpful !! I wish I found this earlier!
Anyways.........
I enclosed my payslips and P60 for Year 2005-2006 and bank statement for other period as 2006-2007 one hasn't been issued
until at the end of this month (I've confirmed with payroll).
I couldn't wait longer in order to claim points for my age.

I was looking at old post and then I noticed that on my bank statement, it only shows the short name of the company name
and not the one they are usually acknowledged as. I always used the short code of the company so I didn't even think of it til now.....

Today, I contacted my bank but all they knew was which bank it has been
paid from (which doesn't help at all!) and there was no detail to prove the payer.
So I just contacted my employer and requested for a letter stating my income using headed paper,
however I am worried as they said it may take a while.

Do you think Home Office may recognize the short name of the company? I currently hold work-permit under the employer
and they should have information on us...
I am hoping it may help somehow though I don't think so.......

For now, I am going to get a letter from employer and send it as additional documentaion, but I would like your advice, please!

Is there anyone who have received Approval even though the company name on bank statement was "nick name-like" one??
and also please advise me how I should request my additional evidence to be considered.

First, get my reference # and then call them, am I correct?

hi there , there have been a few posts recently from ppl saying that their application was rejected bcos the bank statement did not have the name of the company at all ...

my bk statements for few of the months do not have any names at all , so i have to wait and see what happens

By all means , if you can get additional evidences do fax them across to HO ...

Also pls post your application details on the april applicants thread that i have started ....

i sent my application last wednesday , it reached them on friday ..but they havent debited the payment yet

The general principle for HSMP applicants here is that it is you who need to help them to see you case thorugly not otherwise. People will not get "The benefit" of doubt.

I beleive people get rejected because HO not convince who credited the money to their bank account.

You could not change thing that have happened in the past. I think the way to show it is ask your company to declare that they are the party who deposit the money (refer to each dates in which your compnay have deposited your salary).

I do not know wheter this solution will work so do not take my work for granted.. But at least this is the best you could do.

I just checked the copy of the payslip and my bank statement.
Luckily(?), the payslip has the date that matches with the
date when my salary was paid in account.

I don't know if this would help any better, but I have requested my employer to provide me a letter to show my gross and net income for each month.

I initially asked them if they could prove the short code appearing on my statement is them, but instead, they willingly offered me to write a letter.

I hope this will do.
