Illness benefit and Irish Citizenship

Post by Godknows2014 » Mon Dec 02, 2013 3:04 pm

Hi Guys,

I am working in Ireland on stamp 4 and completing 5 years in Jan 2014.
I am then eligible to apply for citizenship. I will probably apply for citizenship here.

Last month I was on sick for four weeks. As of now, I haven`t taken Illness Benefit claim from Social Walfare.

I need to get your inputs here on a quick concern below?

If I apply for Illness Benefit for 4 weeks, will it impact my citizenship application next year?

Should you think I go ahead with claiming the benefit for 4 weeks?

Thanks.
