I think you need to wait another 4 years and then apply Long Residence.

You can try to study for another 4 years an apply for ILR on long residence. Or you can see if you meet the criteria for HSMP. Failing that, you could try to get a job and a work permit. hyave a look at www.workingintheuk.gov.uk for details.

If you did not receive your degree certificate until after July, you may just scrape in for IGS.

.

When did you graduate ..?

If you graduated on or after 01 May of this year, you can work for twelve months from the date of your graduation:

International Graduates Scheme (IGS)
http://www.workpermit.com/uk/internatio ... scheme.htm

During that time you would need to get another visa to remain longer.

So, HSMP if you qualify, or a work permit with employer sponsor, or get back into school and begin the next degree.

Don't let any of your visas expire without having another one in place, and don't travel out of the country too much or too often .. that can interrupt your five years residency and deny you Indefinite Leave to Remain) ILR.

Do you want to naturalize? Or do you just want the permanent residency (ILR) ?

The only options you have are work or study. Manager of a restaurant probably won't get you a work permit. If you don't qualify for HSMP then your only option is to study. I don't know that many people who go from ACCA to PhD (the only 4 year course I can think of), so unless you have another ACCA programme...but even then you need 4 years more to qualify for ILR, so you really need to find an employer to sponsor you for a work permit. Otherwise, there is nothing else but to return home.

yeah,i will carry on study acca course coz the royal chartered account is my dream job. i think the course will last at least 3 yrs anyway.and i will still get student vise through the colledge. i know acca is pretty hard like.well, fingers crossed. if i can get PR through this then will be even better. so that means the only thing i can do is studying another 4 yrs to qualify for ILR? thx
