NONEU Moving to UK with EU Partner

Hello,

My partner is moving to London from Ireland with his company, he is German National and we're living together for more than 5 years. I've got in Ireland Stamp 4EUFam, with a full permission to work, we applied in Ireland for the 'De Facto Partnership', provided all the documentation and a 5 years Visa was given to me. I'm a brazilian national!

Now we're moving to London, I'm leaving my work to go with him and I was told to apply to the VAF4A form, but I read it will be given only 6 months of residence with no permission to work, what would be difficult to live in London with half of our budget!

We have no Civil and we are not married, so is there any other way to apply? We can prove that we are together for more than five years plus providing the approval of my Stamp 4EUFam given in Ireland. I would like some advise, because our case is very specific.
