Recieving the Biometric Permit through post

Hi

I have just been granted partner visa at home office last Thursday.
however silly enough I gave them my home address for the biometric permit delivery instead of work address. I am never home until 7pm as I am at work. having read some forums some are saying they were able to rearrange delivery with DX special services and some not. With any ones experience, were you able to rearrange a delivery to a different address even with additional charges? Knowing that it is 20th century I am sure that normal delivery companies will be letting people change the redelivery address..

Since it was Thursday when my visa was granted, should I call home office on Monday to change the delivery address?

I doubt the Home Office would be willing to change the delivery address. Biometric Card is usually sent recorded and signed for cos it's a sensitive document.

do you think that I will be able to rearrange the delivery to another address?
if not I will have to take a day off and sit at home waiting around :/

im getting anxious as I need to book a flight back home urgently for May.

You can contact DX couriers once they try to deliver and arrange to collect it from one of their offices.

Will the courier be able to rearrange a delivery to different address?

I am hoping it will arrive this coming week as I really need to go back to my home country urgently.

DX also deliver passports and I was able to request that they delivered my son's passpory to my work address rather than my home address.
